Crompton Greaves (CG) is one of the largest private sector enterprise in India, extensively engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing high technology electrical products and services related to power generation, transmission, distribution as well as executing turnkey projects.

Neev has an experience of building web application on top of SAP implementation for CG. The client had a J2EE application with EJB’s and ASAPXcess as the SAP connector and wanted to carry out major enhancements but they lacked competence. With its expertise in Java and inputs from internal SCM professionals, Neev took less than two weeks to study and absorb the functional flows and the application code. Neev extends support and maintenance services to the client for the application. The functionalities include:

• Making calls to SAP RFC to push orders/delivery, get real time status for orders/deliveries etc.

• Building of reports module by pulling the real time data from SAP using RFC and BAPI

Neev also developed a Price Authorization (PA) system for the same client to enable Marketing division at client’s location to request, approve and track discounts. The application has connectors to the SAP server to check the dealers’ eligibility for discounts and also push the discounts once approved. The PA application was implemented and widely accepted across the Marketing division. It serves as a tool for the team to get a quick history of the discounts granted to the dealers in the past and also tracking discounts while placing the order.
