India’s upcoming fashion e-mall hosting a large collection of premium branded apparel, footwear, perfumes, handbags and watches.

Business Need

Fashionara, is a Magento-based eCommerce portal with a pre-set architecture. They were looking for a team to manage services and provide continuous monitoring, analysis of resource usage and having the ability to make amendments to infrastructure.

Neev Solution

The solution provided had load-balanced front end servers that connected to CloudFront for videos and images stored in S3 and database in RDS. The scaling issues were overcome using custom python scripts and CDN based streaming. Custom monitoring scripts and CloudWatch were used to capture load spikes. 5 instances of Extra Large CPU, Double extra large memory, Double extra large RDS types were used to arrive at 99.8% up-time. Also quite a few services were moved to AWS that had its own benefits.
