Apple iCloud may herald a new competition in cloud computing services. Google and Microsoft, Apple’s two major rivals, who have been maintaining their own cloud based services for some years, may launch some improvements to stay competitive in the market.

Apple always used to be a trendsetter in technology. Apple was purely imitated by other companies in smartphones, mobile operating systems and finally the tablet PCs.After launching its much-frenzied iCloud cloud based service Apple has requested its MobileMe users to move their e-mails, contacts, bookmarks to iCloud, which will be available soon.

Apple iCloud is also in style of Google Docs in some cases. The contents of an iDevice or Mac OS can automatically be uploaded to the Apple servers from their respective applications. This is what Apple iCloud and other cloud computing services realize in technology.
